Two-day trek in Pirin - Tevno lake off the beaten track! Extraordinary hike for lovers of unconventional trails in our favourite national park! :)

Day 1

We have chosen a totally unconventional trail to take you to one of the most spellbound spots around - Tevno lake! We leave Sofia as usual at 7 a.m. from the Vassil Levski Stadium and drive to Sandanski. There we take a totally new trail along the stunning Mozgovishka valley! The hike there is a treat for your soul! We hike along the Mozgovitsa river, surrounded by the jagged Begovishki and Mozgovishki ridges. For about 5h, without much effort, we reach Belemeto and the mythical lake. We are free to decide what to do in the evening - we may climb a peak nearby and enjoy the sunset atop but we should also save our energy for the Sunday trek!

Elevation gain/loss: up 1200m; Total hike - 5h

Day 2

The scarlet morning views wake us up for the magnificent hike. We go up to the Kralev Dvor pass and descend towards the Demirkapiyska glacial valley. The Mitrevo lake - one of our favourite lakes - is on the way and we take a rest on its shores. Once we pass by Kamenitsa and Yalovarnika peaks, we take a westward turn and go up to the enchanted Bashmandra valley - a real solitary gem! Meadows and timeless all around! :) At the pass between the Kuklite and Zaba peaks we decide to have some fun and drop by another jewel of Pirin - the Kuklensko lake. We have a picnic there and overwhelmed by emotions we continue downhill. We stop at the Begovitsa chalet for a while.

As usual, we make a detour to have a 30-minute bath at a mineral water pool. So have your swimsuits on! :)

Elevation gain/loss - up 600; down 1800m. Total hike - 8h

Price per person if the group is of 8 people or more - BGN105.

Group under 7 people - BGN125.

Price covers:

• Transport from Sofia to Sofia
• Licensed mountain guide
• Mountain insuranse
• Accommodation at Tevno lake shelter

Price doesn't cover:

• Food on the way and in the lodge
• Entrance fee for the swimming pool

Reservation for participation and payment:

• To join the excursion, please fill in the Reservation Form, which you can find in the Main Menu. We will do our best to respond you at our earliest convenience!
• You can pay in cash or remit a bank transfer and we will issue to you a cash receipt or respectively an invoice according to VAT Law (art. 113 and art. 114)!

Important!

• In case of sudden change of the meteo conditions or other unforeseen situations, the guide may stop the group from the planned trek and to change the direction depending on the conditions. He proposes another trek, agreed with the tourists!
• In the case of dense fog or slippery terrain the guide may change the trek to ensure the health of the tourists!
• The treks are forbidden for tourists with heart diseases, problems with the legs and other dangerous contions for the mountains!
• If the group is more than 10 tourists there is a second guide, which doesn't change the price!
